TDr. Garth Nicolson, a leading authority on Cellular Medicine and author of over 600 medical and scientific publications. Dr. Nicolson answers some questions regarding NT Factor Lipids®, which is the main ingredient found in Vibrant & Clear Energy Wafers™. Dr. Nicolson is the President and Founder of The Institute for Molecular Medicine in Huntington Beach, California. He has participated in many studies involving NT Factor Lipids.
Q1: The product is called Vibrant & Clear Energy Wafers. How much energy will I feel?
A1: Studies on patients with moderate to severe chronic fatigue and people with some fatigue we found a range of positive responses to NT Factor Lipids, the active ingredient in Vibrant & Clear Energy Wafers. What is clear from our published clinical research is that the more fatigued you are, the better your response will be to NT Factor Lipids. Most people can expect a 25-45% (Average above 35%) reduction in fatigue accompanied by improvements in energy and ability to complete physical tasks. Statistical analyses of these data indicate that these differences are highly significant. People taking Vibrant & Clear Energy Wafers will also see improvements in mood, ability to concentrate, short-term memory and cognition.
Q2: The directions say take as needed. How many do you recommend taking for good health and increased energy? Are there dangers in taking too many?
A2: Two wafers per day is a standard daily dose of NT Factor Lipids, but under severe physical stress more can be taken as needed. There is no upper limit to how many can be taken per day. Safety studies have shown no adverse reactions with very high doses, and the active ingredients are “generally considered safe” by the FDA.
Q3: Other than energy, what are the benefits of the product?
A3: As mentioned above, people who take NT Factor Lipids can generally expect to see improvements in fatigue, energy, mood, mental alertness, and short-term memory. If taken daily (2 wafers or more per day) over the long-term, they will also see some improvements in sensory systems (hearing, vision, etc.), although these improvements have not been carefully examined in long-term clinical trials.
Q4: How does it boost mental alertness?
A4: Our nervous system is very dependent on the functioning of the little batteries in our cells, called mitochondria, which produce the high-energy molecules needed for cell function. Nerve cells are particularly dependent on mitochondrial energy, and NT Factor Lipids provides replacement molecules that repair mitochondrial function and restore it to normal levels so that these high-energy molecules can be produced at the highest possible rate when needed. By doing so, it helps all of the various functions associated with brain and sensory activity.
Q5: What are NT Factor Lipids?
A5: NT Factor Lipids are the same membrane phospholipids used to build and repair the membrane systems in all of your cells. Each of our cells are surrounded by a plasma membrane, and critical parts of our cells, such as our energy generating system, the mitochondria, have two membranes that surround them. These membranes are made up of phospholipids that are susceptible to damage over time, especially during physical stress and as we age, and these damaged membrane phospholipids must be replaced to maintain function and production of high-energy molecules necessary for most cellular processes.
Q6: Do I need to take a break from using Energy Wafers after a certain amount of time?
A6: No, there are no known adverse effects associated with long-term use of NT Factor Lipids, the active ingredient in Vibrant & Clear Energy Wafers.
Q7: Is there any proof of health benefits from Energy Wafers?
A7: There have been a number of clinical trials that have proven the effectiveness and safety of the active ingredient in Vibrant & Clear Energy Wafers.
Q8: Who will benefit most from taking Energy Wafers?
A8: Any person can benefit from Vibrant & Clear Energy Wafers, from children to the elderly. We have tested the ingredients in children with chronic childhood diseases (such as Autism Spectrum Disorders, chronic infections, etc.), teens and adults with fatigue problems and in people who are just fatigued from the stresses of ordinary living or who are fatigued due to extreme physical stress. In our clinical studies, the people that benefited the most were the ones with the greatest loss of energy and highest fatigue scores.
Q9: How will this affect someone who works out?
A9: We are just beginning to test the effectiveness of the active ingredients (NT Factor Lipids) in Vibrant & Clear Energy Wafers on athletic performance. Preliminary results indicate that performance can be improved and exercise-induced fatigue reduced with daily use.
Q10: Is the wafer habit forming?
A10: Absolutely not! NT Factor Lipids is made up of completely natural phospholipids ingredients that are already in your cell membranes. There are no stimulants, herbs, sugar, or drugs in NT Factor Lipids.
Dr. Nicolson was formally the David Bruton Jr. Chair in Cancer Research and Professor at the University of Texas M. D. Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, and Professor of Internal Medicine and Professor of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine at the University of Texas Medical School at Houston. He was also Adjunct Professor of Comparative Medicine at Texas A & M University. Among the most cited scientists in the world, having published over 480 medical and scientific papers, edited 13 books, served on the Editorial Boards of 12 medical and scientific journals and currently serving as Editor of two (Clinical & Experimental Metastasis and the Journal of Cellular Biochemistry), Professor Nicolson has active peer-reviewed research grants from the U.S. Army, National Cancer Institute, National Institutes of Health, American Cancer Society and the National Foundation for Cancer Research. In 1998 he received the Stephen Paget Award from the Cancer Metastasis Research Society and the Albert Schweitzer Award in Lisbon, Portugal.
Dr. Nicholson was made an honorary COL of the U.S. Army and an honorary U.S. Navy SEAL for his work with active duty military personnel and veterans and their family members who had undiagnosed chronic illnesses during and after their service. This was especially apparent after the First Gulf War (ODS), but he has worked with veterans of earlier (and later) wars to help them overcome their undiagnosed chronic illnesses.
